Directions to Cripple Creek's Herm Field

Take I-25 South towards Colorado Springs.
Take the W. Cimarron St./US-24 exit.
Go west on US-24 about 25 miles. Turn south on CO-67 for about 18 miles into Cripple Creek.
Follow Pikes Peak Ave until it turns right and becomes Bennett Ave. Continue on Bennett Ave. all the way west (as far as it goes).
Take a right on to "C" St. and go two blocks. The field is on the left, next to the elementary school.

Camping Information:

Camping is about 20 miles out for the most accessable spots from the main roads. Lot of spots in Mueller SP and the Crags CG. Some sites are available closer in if you want to pay more money. CC hospitality house is right in CC and has a shuttle bus service, and Lost Burro is about 4 miles SW and offers internet with campsites among its amenities. Shelf road to the south has camping about 15 miles down but its dirt and may have been partially washed out with recent rains. Other than those, there are several pull-off campsites down various other dirt roads, for those with 4x4 vehicles.
